Scottish Division of Educational Psychology AGM & Rules

Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of the Scottish Division of Educational Psychology will be held on Friday 12 September 2014, 4.30pm at Edinburgh Conference Centre, Herriot Watt University, Riccarton, Edinburgh EH14 4AS.

Nominations are invited for:

Chair

3 years * (2 years Chair, 1 year Past Chair)

Honorary Secretary

3 years

Committee Member x2

3 years

(Can be any member of the Scottish Division of Educational Psychology with voting rights)

Nominations for the above vacancies should be sent to the Honorary Secretary on the enclosed nomination form, at the Society’s offices to reach us no later than 12 noon on Monday 4 August 2014, at the address on the nomination form.

All nominees must be Full Members of the Scottish Division of Educational Psychology with voting rights unless otherwise specified. The nominations require a proposer and seconder who must be Full Members of the Scottish Division of Educational Psychology with voting rights and the consent of the nominee to accept office, if elected, must be obtained in writing.

Nominees are asked to complete brief biographical details of not more than 300 words, using the reverse of the nomination form. This information will be used should a ballot be necessary.

SDEP New Standardised Rules - September 2013

To submit a nomination by email please scan a copy of the signed form and send it to the email address stated on the nomination form.
Alternatively, if the nominee does not have the signatures for the proposer or seconder, the nominee can email the completed form and ask that the proposer or seconder separately send an email from their Society-registered email address - including their membership number - to MemberNetworkServices@bps.org.uk, stating they are happy to propose or second the nominee.
